What's new this version:
- Now Free Virtual Keyboard is truly portable. The program store its settings in an INI file. The settings are stored in the FreeVK.ini file located in the program installation folder. If it's impossible, settings are stored in the registry.
- Added an ability to change theme colors (see context menu).
- Some other enhancements.

I face entering multilingual texts on quite constant basis. Windows operating system provides frighteningly cumbersome tool to do the job - the character map.
ReplyDeleteNow, the "freeware virtual keyboard", made it the way it should be - effortless.
Great idea and great execution!
One thing that I still need the character map for, is degree mark "°".
I believe that addition of a keys layout that one could toggle on & off, with special characters used in exotic professions would be great.
But addition of layouts for far east languages would make this little program HUGE!
It's great software, save a lot of time to develop from scratch. It will be good if we can hide the title bar for unactive case.
