Free Virtual Keyboard 4.2 has been released

  • New: Japanese interface language has been added.
  • Improved: The definition of the default keyboard size has been improved.
  • Improved: The keyboard "Standard+Arrows" has been changed.
  • Improved: The restriction of 10 simultaneously used input languages was removed.
  • Improved: The switching of the input language was accelerated.
  • Improved: The label on the AltGr key now depends on the input language.
  • Fixed: If you moved the keyboard over the edge of the screen, the transparency slider did not redraw.
  • Fixed: Sometimes the state of the Caps Lock key was incorrectly determined.
  • Some other bugfixes and improvements.

Free Virtual Keyboard 4.1 has been released

  • New "Settings" window has been added.
  • New keyboard layout "Compact + Arrows" has been added.
  • New styles have been added: "Windows 10" and "Android". Order of styles has been changed.
  • New "Language preferences" button has been added.
  • Now the keyboard shows the state of Caps Lock key.
  • Fixed problems when typing using a stylus in Windows 10 Fall Creators Update (Version 1709).

New version of Free Virtual Keyboard 3.0 has been released

This release includes various minor improvements and bug fixes. Changes include:
  • Improved DPI Scaling support.
  • New 25 interface languages have been added.
  • New: The virtual keyboard displays symbols accessible via AltGr key.
  • New settings menu appears on Ctrl+Menu hotkey.
  • Improved: Lots of improvements for touchscreen support.
  • Improved Windows 10 Compatibility.
  • Fixed: Some Arabic characters were displayed incorrectly.

Virtual Keyboard Freeware 2.5 with new features

New version 2.5 of the free virtual keyboard for TabletPC, UMPC, Touchscreen and disabled people is ready.

What's new this version:
  • Now Free Virtual Keyboard is truly portable. The program store its settings in an INI file. The settings are stored in the FreeVK.ini file located in the program installation folder. If it's impossible, settings are stored in the registry.
  • Added an ability to change theme colors (see context menu).
  • Some other enhancements.
