Free Virtual Keyboard 6.0 has been released

  • Changed: Windows 7 SP1 or later is now required.
  • Improved: The keyboard is scaled correctly when you move it to a monitor with a different display scaling.
  • Improved: On Windows 11, the keys are labeled with the modern Segoe UI Variable font, and the arrow, Backspace and Menu keys use Segoe Fluent Icons symbols.
  • Improved: The Settings window has a simpler layout, and its icons stay sharp at any display scaling.
  • Improved: On the first start, the keyboard selects the "Windows Dark" or "Windows Light" style to match the Windows color mode.
  • Improved: The key label gets slightly smaller while the key is pressed, so you can clearly see the press.
  • Improved: The new installer has a modern look and creates only one shortcut in the Start menu. After a silent installation, the keyboard no longer starts automatically.
  • Changed: The "Online Keyboard" button in the Settings window and the "Online Keyboard" item in the context menu open the free online keyboard Qwertia.
  • Memory leaks have been fixed.
  • Some other bugfixes and improvements.
